Delete your DockRate account

This page explains exactly what deletion removes and lets you start a verified deletion request.

What deletion removes

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Profile details and display name
  • Reviews and star ratings you submitted
  • Wait reports, dock difficulty ratings and check-in notes
  • Entrance and map-point submissions
  • Facility correction submissions
  • Photos you uploaded
  • Saved facilities and app preferences

Deletion is permanent

Once processed, your account and content cannot be recovered. If you only want to remove a single review or photo, you can delete it individually in the app instead.

Retention exceptions

A minimal record of moderation and deletion actions may be retained where required for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance. Encrypted backups are cycled out within 30 days of deletion, and support messages you sent us are kept for up to 24 months.

Processing time

We reply from support@getdockrate.com within 24–48 business hours to confirm the request came from the account owner, and deletion is completed within 30 days of that confirmation. You will receive an email when deletion is complete.

Deletion is also available in the app

You can delete your account directly inside the DockRate iOS app, which is the fastest route. This page exists for drivers who no longer have the app installed or cannot sign in.

Step 1 — Identity verification

Enter the email address registered to your DockRate account. We reply from support@getdockrate.com to confirm it is really you before anything is deleted.

Your request is sent securely to DockRate support. Deletion is carried out server-side after we verify the request; privileged keys are never used in the browser.
